Blood oranges have darker maroons and reds—even near-black colors. Cara Cara oranges have distinctly pink flesh. Is a cara cara orange a grapefruit? Cara Cara navel oranges may appear similar to Ruby red grapefruit, but other than color and being citrus fruits, they are not the same. Cara Cara navel oranges are a result of a mutation in thePinch of sea salt. 1/4 cup finely chopped walnuts. Directions: Combine Cara Cara Orange Juice, butter, and honey in a skillet over medium-low heat, stirring to melt butter. Add cinnamon, carrots, and salt; stir until combined thoroughly. Cover and simmer gently until crisp and tender about 5-6 minutes. Stir in chopped walnuts.

The exception being if they are clearly not ripe, eg. hard skin and green spots.Navel. Navels are the earliest maturing of orange varieties, producing seedless fruit of larger size than most others, with deep orange, easily peeled rinds, and rich, sweet and pleasant flavour. This is our main cultivar. Varieties include: Palmer, Fisher, Fukumoto, Washington, Mclains, Newhalls, Lina’s and Lane Late.
